Getting Together with Friends

We met up at Crystal Cove Saturday February 4, 2006 and admired the rides.

Superformance Daytona Coupe drew admirers. Steve Smith #1144 and son Eric
joined Billy and Patty Hufnagel #1486, Lance Stander and Mike Tennerilli,
former SPF Cobra owner and current GT350 & Ferrari 360 owner.

About 8:30 am we cruised down the coast to in the early morning fog to Laguna Beach
and twisting inland through the canyon up Hwy 133.  Fun drive, even with the traffic. 
Fortunately, the police hiding behind the wall ignored some of us gunning it on Lake Forest. :-) 

   
John explained the hydraulics of his Citroen. Billy and Patty left #1486 in the garage
and cruised in the fog in their Vette.  Lance showed off Shelby Daytona Coupe C024.

Deborah Stander joined us for breakfast at Mimi's. Thanks for the treat!  Next, we headed
to the new Superformance USA and Hillbank Motor showroom and warehouse in Irvine, CA. 
Great to meet everyone, including  Dean Harisis #747,  James Walker #2117 and Bob after
years of only knowing them through their posts on SCOF.

Our thoughts were with Ryan Oakley #2233 and Doug Campbell C088 who were with family.

   
Lance and Deborah Stander gave a warm welcome to everyone, including Ann McComb C037.

     
Roush engines on display, including an EFI set up and everything from Ford flatheads to 460 / 588.

   
The new Superformance USA warehouse was well stocked with fun rides and parts.

     
Hillbank Motorsports is settling in to their new offices, with room to grow.
