After running the $$$ on a couple of options, the owner decided the Deuce had
the look he wanted. The new owners of Heritage Hot Rods worked with us to
meet the schedule and budget.
We picked up an unassembled body, floor and grill shell from Heritage's
new production facility in Kankakee.
To keep costs within budget, it will sit low on a straight tube frame chassis
hidden under the body. No need for the extra costs of stamped deuce rails.
Michael and Rory positioned the parts and took measurements for the steel frame.
They cut to size and welded up the frame.
Next, they positioned the floor within the body and cut fiberglass strips
to seal the seam.
Woodsy mixed up the resin and hardener, and they applied it
over the fiberglass cloth to bond the floor to the body.
Good to go.
