At the 2006 Run 'n Gun, Woodsy leads in the Superformance Cobra Daytona Coupe,
with apprentice Rory Meier in hot pursuit in the Heritage Deuce hot rod. Rory kicked
some serious Cobra butt in the new Novice class. Woodsy took 1st in Road Course and
2nd in Autocross in the Street - Small Block class.Have more time for fun. Leave the tough stuff to us.

it again!
Woodsy, Superformance engine installer, dreamed of driving a Cobra
ever since he saw the Coupe race as a kid.
What a treat to actually meet Peter Brock, designer of the
original
aerodynamic Cobra Coupe that broke speed records in 1965.
Peter Brock and Woodsy grin ear-to-ear before heading
out in their Superformance Daytona Cobra Coupes through
the wide-open country near Woodsy's Gearhead City.
Brock re-engineered his original race car with modern suspension
for improved handling. Under his direction, Superformance added
creature comforts including enough head leg room for guys over
6 feet tall plus weather-tight roll-up windows.
Woodsy's driven about 4,600 miles -- just enough to shake any
bugs out of this early production car Superformance C037
We love how much fun it is on the open road. It grips the road
on straight-aways and hugs the curves. Plus, it is so aerodynamic
we get 20 mpg in cool comfort thanks to the factory-installed
air conditioning.

Woodsy admires gauge surrounds and trim 'hot rod jewelry'
designed & hand-crafted by Andrea and Bruce Carnahan
of Motorhead Jewelry.
Admit it. Do you talk about your car as she?
Talk real sweet as you polish her? Give her a pet name?
Well give her some bling. Dress her up with "jewelry".
Woodsy's Gearhead City is in the middle of "corn
country", near
Champaign, Illinois. We are an easy drive from Chicago, Indianapolis
and St. Louis, just east of Interstate 57 and south of I-74. Or, fly in
to Champaign's Willard Airport.
From Champaign-Urbana, take Route 130 south for about 10 miles.
Head south from Philo for 3 miles, or north from Villa Grove for 5 miles.
Watch for our big red shed on the west side of the road.
