This 1937 Chevrolet Coupe "rad" rod project started about 10 years ago
when the owner, who has a good sense of design, did the initial cuts.
He came to me to complete the work he didn't want to tackle himself.
I welded the body and removed it, shortened the frame 4" to go with the
section and roof drop, installed a MII front suspension cross member from
TCI, shaved the doors, hidden door & trunk hinges and leaded body seams.
He is reassembling his vehicle himself.
This is a smooth build because he took his timing founding a good vehicle for the
project he had planned. He had a clear vision of what he was creating before
he started. He budgeted as he went along, rather than blowing too much on any
one thing, and did as much of the work as he could himself.
This baby also will have a specially built turboed + digital injected 235" in line
six
backed by a 700r4 trans ..... definitely not your grandpa's Chevrolet.
Brine wanted his raaaddddd, so he made some cuts
And brought it to Woodsy to chop the frame . . .
and fabricate side trunk hinges.
Woodsy shoots "Wild Cherry" -- maybe final paint choice???
Custom 1937 Chevy is ready for Brine to reassemble.
Not every 1937 Chevy project goes as smoothly. Continue
